Job summary

Excel Refrigeration & Air Conditioning in Auckland is seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician to work across commercial and industrial sites, servicing a wide range of HVAC, air conditioning and ventilation systems.

You will join an experienced team, keeping customers' systems reliable, performing servicing, fault diagnostics, preventative maintenance and documenting work. A customer-focused attitude is essential, with opportunities to mentor apprentices.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years commercial HVAC experience.
• Strong fault-finding, problem-solving and mechanical skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
• Willingness to support and mentor apprentices.

Excel Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Auckland is looking for an experienced HVAC Service Technician. This is a varied role working across commercial and industrial sites, servicing a wide range of HVAC, air conditioning and ventilation systems. You'll join an experienced group delivering quality service and practical solutions within a growing business.

The Role

Working as part of our Auckland team, you'll be responsible for keeping our customers' HVAC systems operating reliably and efficiently.

Your day-to-day work will include:

• Servicing and repairing commercial HVAC and ventilation systems
• Diagnosing faults and carrying out effective repairs
• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance
• Working across a diverse range of commercial and industrial sites
• Completing service documentation and communicating with customers
• Supporting and sharing your knowledge with apprentices

About You

We're looking for a capable and experienced technician who takes pride in delivering quality work and enjoys being part of a team.

You’ll bring:

• A minimum of 5 years commercial HVAC experience

• NZ HVAC qualification or recognised equivalent
• Current EST licence and Approved Fillers Ticket
• A full NZ driver licence
