Job summary

IntoWork is seeking motivated individuals for Electrical apprenticeships. You will assist tradespeople with pre-wire and fit-off tasks, gaining exposure to EV charging, residential and some commercial work, with future potential to work on solar projects.

Applicants should be reliable, able to use power tools, and have a driver’s license plus NZ residency. Training wages may apply and pay increases follow skill gains; long-term career prospects are strong with ATT’s training support.

Qualifications

• NZ permanent resident or citizen
• Interest in Electrical trade; good with maths (NCEA L2) and preferably physics investigated
• Passed pre-employment drug and alcohol tests not specified in HTML but implied
• Experience in labouring, holiday jobs, or hands-on work is valued

Job description

We're looking for intelligent, hands-on candidates interested in Electrical apprenticeships in

About the role:

You will be supporting the tradesmen in pre-wire and fit off, there will be exposure to EV charging, residential and some commercial work, with future potential of working with the Solar.

You will need to:

• Be reliable - on time, every time
• Confident using power tools and know what they are used for
• Have some job experience - whether that's labouring experience, or holiday jobs
• Be good with your hands - you know how to use tools
• Have your driver's license (Restricted or Full) with reliable transport to get to work
• Have a clean criminal record
• Be able to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol tests
• Be a NZ permanent resident or citizen
• Have an insight into the Electrical trade - good at maths (at least NCEA L2) an preferably have studied physics.
• Maybe you have completed an electrical pre-trade course or have completed an Electrical Gateway placement while at school.
