Job summary

WM New Zealand is seeking a Driver - Multisystem Operator to join our Timaru team. We’re looking for Class 2 or Class 4 licensed drivers, with on-the-job training and development to expand across Frontload, skip and rear-load vehicles.

Guaranteed hours and a stable local service position. As an Operator you’ll complete logbooks and safety checks, work with the latest onboard technology, and contribute to our safety culture and customer service.

Qualifications

• NZ Class 2 or Class 4 licence; endorsement is a bonus but not essential
• Ability to operate Frontload, Skip and Rear-load trucks
• Physically fit and adaptable to varied tasks
• Strong safety awareness and customer service orientation

Responsibilities

As an Operator, you’ll be responsible for driving a range of vehicles equipped with the latest onboard technology to ensure safe and timely collections across Timaru and surrounding areas. Operations may include Frontload, skip and rear-load trucks, so a good level of physical fitness is important. You’ll also play an active role in supporting our strong safety culture and teamwork values.

• Class 2 or Class 4 New Zealand driver’s licence
• Wheels, Tracks, and Rollers endorsement is a bonus, but not essential
