Job summary

Ametek O'Brien is seeking a hands-on Warehouse Team Leader near Christchurch Airport. You will lead a busy distribution operation with a team of 20+ staff, owning day-to-day stock movements and floor resourcing.

You will drive process improvements to tighten pick and dispatch accuracy, while maintaining strong on-floor leadership. Expect a Monday–Friday schedule with no weekends and immediate start.

• Full Class 1 driver licence and own reliable transport.

We're recruiting an experienced Warehouse Team Leader for a well‑established organisation based near Christchurch Airport. This is a hands‑on leadership position running a busy distribution operation, with a team of 20+ reporting to you.
You'll own the day‑to‑day: making sure stock moves in and out accurately and on time, that the floor is properly resourced across each shift, and that your team is clear on what's expected of them. It's a role for someone who leads from the front — visible on the floor, setting the standard, and stepping in to sort problems rather than waiting for them to escape.
Alongside the daily running of the site, you'll be expected to look for ways to do things better, whether that's tightening up pick processes, improving dispatch accuracy or reducing turnaround times. Monday to Friday, no weekends, with a genuine opportunity to shape how the site operates.
The role:
