Job summary

Kinetic Recruitment is seeking an experienced Team Leader to join a busy distribution warehouse on the afternoon shift. You will lead and coordinate a team, ensuring orders are packed accurately and efficiently.

Key duties include allocating tasks, monitoring workflow, and maintaining safety and quality standards in a fast-paced environment. You will report to management and collaborate across shifts to ensure smooth handovers.

Team Leader – Afternoon Shift

Hours: 1:30pm – 7:30pm

Location: South Auckland

Industry: Distribution / Warehousing

Salary: $32 p/h

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Team Leader to join a busy distribution and packing warehouse on the afternoon shift.

You will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day running of the warehouse, coordinating a team of warehouse staff and ensuring orders are picked, packed and prepared accurately and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, support and motivate the afternoon shift team.
• Allocate daily tasks and monitor workflow to ensure targets are met.
• Oversee picking, packing, labelling and general warehouse activities.
• Ensure work is completed accurately, safely and to a high standard.
• Monitor productivity, attendance and team performance.
• Provide training, guidance and support to team members.
• Assist with resolving day-to-day operational issues.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
• Follow all company health & safety, quality and operational procedures.
• Communicate effectively with management and other shifts to ensure a smooth handover.
