Job summary

Greenlight Recruitment is seeking a hands-on part-time Warehouse & Delivery Assistant in Christchurch. The role involves a mix of warehouse tasks, pick packing and local deliveries, with a company van provided for deliveries.

You will work Tue/Thu on packing and inbound goods, plus 1–2 extra days for local deliveries. Applicants should have a Class 1 automatic licence, be reliable, customer-friendly and able to work both independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Class 1 automatic driver’s licence is required.
• Reliable and punctual with a good work ethic.
• Friendly and confident in customer interactions.
• Good communication skills both verbal and written.
• Comfortable handling cash.
• Physically able for hands-on warehouse work.
• Accurate and well-organised in stock handling.
• Good knowledge of Christchurch and surrounding areas.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Honest, trustworthy and responsible.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• 8:00am – 4:30pm weekly schedule; mix of warehouse, pick packing and local deliveries.
• Tuesdays and Thursdays focused on pick packing and inbound goods.
• 1–2 extra days per week completing local deliveries around Christchurch.
• Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently.
• Assist with inbound goods and stock control.
• Provide local customer delivery service using company van.

They are looking for their next team member to join their busy store and warehouse operation, supporting their contract and helping provide essential health support to patients in their homes.

ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a varied part-time role, giving you a mix of warehouse, pick packing and local delivery responsibilities.

• 8:00am – 4:30pm
• Tuesdays & Thursdays focused on pick packing and inwards goods
• 1–2 additional days per week completing local deliveries
• Christchurch-based deliveries
• Customer service focused
• Pick and pack orders accurately
• Assist with inwards goods and stock control
• General warehouse duties
• Temp-to-perm opportunity
