Job summary

Greenlight Recruitment is seeking a warehouse operator for our Christchurch Distribution Center. The role includes reach truck work, picking and dispatching orders, stock receipting, container unloading, stock checks and customer service in a busy warehouse.

Hours are Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 15:30 at the Hornby site, with a two-month assignment and Xmas/NYE off. Applicants should have reach truck experience and be able to lift up to 25kg daily.

Qualifications

• Reach truck experience is essential.
• Customer service focus and strong communication skills.
• Attention to detail is critical for accurate stock handling.
• Ability to work as part of a team and autonomously when required.

• Operate reach truck for picking and dispatching orders.
• Receipting incoming stock and unloading containers.
• Perform stock checks and servicing of customers.
• Assist with general warehouse cleaning duties.

About the Role

This busy role is based in our dynamic Christchurch Distribution Center where your role will include reach truck work, picking and dispatching orders, receipting incoming stock, unloading containers, stock checks, servicing customers and other general warehouse cleaning duties.

For you

• Monday - Friday 9 - 3:30pm
• Hornby location
• Two month assignment (Xmas and NYE off!)

About You

You will have previous reach truck and warehouse experience, able to work well supporting your team and ensure you are giving their customers the best service that they are used to.

• Reach truck experience is a "MUST"
• Process and customer service focused
• Exceptional communicator with clients and within the business
• Attention to detail is key
• A pro-active and resourceful approach
• Fit, strong and healthy as you will be lifting up to 25kg daily and on your feet all day
• DG licence (would be a bonus but not essential)
• Able to work autonomously
