Job summary

Tegel Foods Ltd in Christchurch is hiring Distribution Warehouse Workers incl Class 4 for our busy Christchurch warehouse. You will be involved in warehousing tasks, lifting up to 15kg, picking and packing goods, and supporting day-to-day operations.

The role requires HT Class 4 forklift/reach truck experience, a valid forklift licence, and a reliable team member with good literacy and numeracy. The shift runs 5:30am–2:00pm, Monday to Friday, with Saturdays as needed.

Qualifications

• Physically fit to cope with the manual nature of the work.
• Ability to work in a chilled environment.
• Forklift and Reach truck licences.
• Previous warehousing experience.
• Good literacy and numeracy skills (scanning required).
• Big team player with strong work ethic and references.

Responsibilities

• Warehousing duties including picking and packing.
• Lifting to 15kg and supporting day-to-day operations.
• Occasional driver coverage for sickness/leave.

About the role:

We are seeking multiple highly motivated, ambitious and reliable individuals to join the Christchurch Warehouse team. Duties will include warehousing, lifting to 15kg, picking and packing.

Shift pattern is 5.30am start time, finishing at 2.00pm, permenrnt Monday - Friday. Flexibility to work on Saturddays when required.

• HT Class 4, including Forklift / Reach truck experience

These roles will be in the warehouse the majority of the time however driver coverage will be required to cover sickness and leave as needed.

To be considered for the role you must have the following attributes:
