Job summary

Tranzit Group in Rangiora, New Zealand, is seeking a qualified Diesel Mechanic to join our Southern workshop team based in Rangiora or Darfield. You will perform routine servicing, prepare vehicles for COF inspections, and diagnose mechanical faults to keep our fleet safe and roadworthy.

We are looking for a qualified Diesel Mechanic to join our Southern workshop team based in Rangiora or Darfield. If you take pride in your trade and enjoy problem-solving—we'd love to hear from you!

What will your day look like?

• Carrying out routine servicing and minor repairs to keep our fleet road ready.
• Preparing vehicles for COF inspections.
• Diagnosing and resolving mechanical faults.
• Ensuring all work meets high safety and quality standards.

We Are Looking For

• A Qualified Diesel Mechanic with proven experience (5 years +), preferably within the road transport industry.
• Strong diagnostic and mechanical repair skills.
• A reliable team player with great communication.
• Full NZ driver's licence (Class 2 or higher preferred).
