Job summary

Tranzit Group in Auckland is seeking a Qualified Diesel Mechanic to join our Mangere/Airport Oaks workshop team. This is a great opportunity to expand your skills while working with our experienced and passionate crew.

You will carry out routine servicing, minor repairs, diagnose faults, and prepare vehicles for COF inspections, all while maintaining high safety and quality standards. A strong communicator and team player with 5+ years’ experience and a NZ driver's licence (Class 2 or higher

Qualifications

• Must be a Qualified Diesel Mechanic with 5+ years experience, preferably in road transport.
• Strong diagnostic and mechanical repair skills.
• NZ driver's licence (Class 2 or higher preferred).

We are looking for qualified Diesel Mechanic to join our Mangere/Airport Oaks workshop team. This is a great opportunity to expand your skills while working alongside our experienced and passionate team.

What will your day look like?

• Carrying out routine servicing and minor repairs to keep our fleet road ready.
• Preparing vehicles for COF inspections.
• Diagnosing and resolving mechanical faults.
• Ensuring all work meets high safety and quality standards.

We Are Looking For

• A Qualified Diesel Mechanic with proven experience (5 years +), preferably within the road transport industry.
• Strong diagnostic and mechanical repair skills.
• A reliable team player with great communication.
• Full NZ driver's licence (Class 2 or higher preferred).
