To make sure that happens, we’re looking for an experienced Diesel Technician to join our Mt Maunganui workshop. If you’re a skilled tradesperson who enjoys diagnosing faults, solving technical challenges, and working on heavy vehicles in a modern workshop environment, we’d love to hear from you.
As a Diesel Technician, you’ll play an important role in ensuring our customers’ trucks and equipment are maintained to the highest standard. Working alongside a team of experienced professionals, you’ll undertake a wide range of servicing, diagnostics, repair, and maintenance activities.
This role offers excellent variety, ongoing technical development, and the opportunity to work with advanced truck technology and industry-leading products.
Reporting to the Service Foreman, you’ll:
diagnose and repair mechanical issues using cutting-edge diagnostic tools
conduct routine maintenance, service, and inspections to keep our trucks performing at their best
collaborate with experienced pros and mentor apprentices
adopt LEAN principles, champion Health & Safety, and uphold our Values
continuously grow your own skills.

We’re Looking For
Hands-on experience with heavy-duty trucks
A strong commitment to safety and a proactive mindset
Excellent problem-solving skills to tackle challenges head‑on
Ideally, a Class 5 license (we can help you get it!)
NZQA LV4 in Heavy Road Transport or Heavy Plant & Equipment
Reliability and willingness to commit to the team
