Job summary

Stantec's Buildings team in New Zealand seeks a Design Manager to lead data centres delivery, coordinating in-house and external teams from brief through to design delivery. You will work closely with clients to interpret requirements and ensure outputs meet time and budget.

With 15 years in engineering delivery and Chartered Engineer status, you will manage multi-disciplinary teams, drive quality, and mentor others.

Qualifications

• 15 years' experience in an engineering delivery environment.
• Experience managing multi-disciplinary teams in a professional services or construction project delivery environment.
• Proven project background in data centres or other similarly complex vertical build projects.

Responsibilities

• Regularly connect with clients to understand and meet their needs, and ensure outputs meet budgets.
• Deliver outputs on time and within budgets, with quality assurance.
• Lead technical delivery and coordinate resources to support project success.
• Plan and program work, track progress, and report status to group leaders.
• Develop relationships with contractors, clients and other consultants.
