Job summary

Fusion5 is seeking a hands-on Functional Support Consultant - D365 CE to join our growing Managed Services practice in Auckland, Wellington or Christchurch. You’ll support CE environments across the full lifecycle, from triage to resolution, helping clients get more from the platform.

You’ll bring 3–5+ years of D365 CE experience, strong configuration skills and a client-focused mindset to deliver high-quality outcomes within a collaborative, flexible team.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of hands-on D365 CE experience.
• Genuine configurator skills: built BPFs, customised screens, Power Automate usage.
• CI-J / CI-D experience; Customer Service/Contact Centre experience.
• Strong client communication and ability to handle challenging conversations.
• Ownership mindset with demonstrable delivery.
• Experience in a managed services, support, or high-accountability consulting environment.
• Full working rights in New Zealand.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary CE support contact from triage to closure.
• Configure and customise D365 CE to resolve client issues (screen customization, BPFs, Power Automate, portal).
• Triage, prioritise, and document support cases within SLAs.
• Manage client expectations professionally and communicate clearly.
• Identify recurring issues and contribute to knowledge sharing.
• Escalate complex/high-priority issues with clear context.
• Collaborate with functional, delivery, and technical teams across AU and NZ.
• Maintain case documentation and contribute to process improvements.
