We are looking for a friendly and organised Customer Services Officer to join our team in Twizel in a permanent part-time capacity, working 15 hours per week.
As one of the first points of contact for Mackenzie District Council, you'll help people with a wide range of enquiries and Council services. This could be anything from rates and property enquiries through to dog registrations, facility bookings, payments and general customer requests.
This is a varied role where no two days are the same. Alongside providing great customer service, you'll undertake a range of administrative tasks and work closely with teams across Council to make sure our customers get the information and support they need.
You'll be someone who enjoys working with people and takes pride in providing great customer service. You'll be comfortable dealing with a wide range of people and enquiries and know how to communicate clearly and professionally, including when a situation might require a little extra patience or understanding.
You'll also be organised, accurate and able to juggle different priorities throughout the day. While you'll be part of a supportive team, you'll be equally comfortable taking ownership of your work and getting on with things independently.
