Job summary

New Zealand Post Group is seeking on-call Customer Service Representatives in Auckland (Wiri) for a fixed-term period from 13 November 2026 to 31 December 2027. You will manage customer inquiries at front counters and by phone, promote NZ Post services, and support parcel processing across New Zealand and beyond.

Responsibilities include mail handling, freight scanning, and occasional heavy lifting; you will engage with a variety of customers and teams to ensure timely, accurate service.

Kōrero Mō Te Tūranga – About The Role

Our Customer Service Representatives deliver an exceptional level of service to manage inquiries, requests or concerns from customers at our front counters and by phone. You\'ll champion our products and services, such as bill payment, NZTA transactions and assist with sending parcels across New Zealand and the world. As an NZ Post expert, you\'ll provide suggestions and access information for our customers. You\'ll process mail, scan freight and small packages from our couriers, so some heavy lifting will be required.Each day is busy and varied and will see you developing your problem-solving skills. We\'re a lively bunch, with a diverse set of skills, but we all share one common goal - to contribute to contribute to the growth and prosperity of our beautiful Aotearoa.

Our On Call Customer Service Representatives are an essential part of our business as we call on them to assist us as and when required. You might be called in to cover illness, extended leave or help us our during our peak delivery periods. It\'s a great way to balance work and lifestyle!
