Job summary

NZ Post is seeking a Processing Officer at our Whakatane branch. You will sort, consolidate and dispatch parcels and freight, preparing them for our couriers to deliver across Aotearoa. The role is part-time, Monday to Friday, 14:30–17:30, on a fixed-term contract until 12 February 2027.

Qualifications

• Be available to work Monday to Friday 14:30–17:30 fixed term to 12th Feb 2027.
• Be a committed teammate, keeping yourself, others and the site safe.
• Energy for a physically demanding role - can you lift up to 25kgs?
• An eye for detail and good geographical knowledge

Responsibilities

• Sort and dispatch parcels and freight at Whakatane branch.
• Support daily processing activities and ensure accuracy of sorting.
• Assist couriers by preparing packages for delivery.
