Job summary

NZ Post is hiring a part-time Processing Officer for the Strathallan Street branch in Dunedin.

You will sort, consolidate and dispatch parcels for delivery, supporting couriers and the broader team. The role runs Monday to Friday, 3.30pm–7pm, on a fixed-term basis through March 2027.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 25 kgs.
• Flexible with shift timings and fixed-term duration.
• Good geographical knowledge of local area.

Responsibilities

• Sort, consolidate and dispatch parcels and freight at Strathallan Street branch.
• Assist couriers by preparing orders for delivery.
• Maintain safety and adherence to site procedures.

Our Processing Officers create the magic by sorting, consolidating and dispatching parcels and freight at our Strathallan Street branch, ready for our couriers to deliver. We're a lively bunch, with a diverse set of skills, but we all share one common goal - to contribute to the growth and prosperity of our beautiful Aotearoa. This is for a fixed term from November until March 2027.
