Job summary

New Zealand Post Group in Wellington is seeking a Mail Officer to deliver an exceptional level of customer service at the Te Puni Postshop in Petone. You will handle inquiries and complaints at front counters, and, as part of our mobile team, cover multiple locations in a company van.

This role requires an early shift Tuesday to Saturday 3am–7am, a current full driver license, and strong problem solving with good administration and data entry skills.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service skills and the ability to handle inquiries or complaints.

Responsibilities

• Deliver customer service at front counters and assist with inquiries or complaints.
• Handle requests or inquiries from customers with a friendly and helpful approach.
• Drive the company van to cover multiple locations as part of the mobile team.
• Assist with data entry and general administration tasks as required.

Based at our Te Puni Postshop in Petone, our Mail Officers deliver an exceptional level of customer service dealing with inquiries, requests, or complaints from customers at our front counters and Box Lobby's. Each day is busy and varied and will see you developing your problem-solving skills. While based at Te Puni, you'll be part of our mobile team covering multiple locations, so a current, clean, full driver license is required as you'll be driving our company van.
