Job summary

North Western Toyota in Lower Hutt is seeking a motivated Service Advisor to join our busy dealership team, acting as the face of the service department and delivering a premium customer experience.

You will greet customers, listen to their needs, document repair orders, liaise with technicians, provide cost and time estimates, and manage bookings while maintaining clear, friendly communication throughout every visit.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a customer service role or as a service advisor is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with customers.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced dealership environment with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and greet customers at the service desk and initiate the service process.
• Listen to customer needs, document repair orders, and communicate with workshop technicians.
• Provide cost/time estimates and manage service bookings, ensuring clear updates throughout.
• Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and explain work performed on return.
