Job summary

Hunter Campbell is seeking an experienced finance professional for a three‑month fixed-term role to support investment and capital allocation decisions. You will lead financial modelling, valuation, and strategic analysis for major capital investments, reporting to senior finance leadership and the Board.

You will develop and maintain complex models, run scenario analysis, and help prioritise opportunities while engaging with executive stakeholders and translating analysis into clear

Qualifications

• Degree in finance, economics, accounting, commerce, engineering or mathematics.
• CFA, CA, CPA or equivalent preferred.
• Strong background in corporate finance, investment analysis or strategy; infrastructure, utilities, banking or consulting experience highly regarded.
• Advanced financial modelling and valuation capability, including DCF, WACC and capital allocation frameworks.
• Experience with scenario analysis, sensitivity testing and probabilistic forecasting.
• Comfortable engaging directly with senior executive stakeholders.
• Able to distil complex analysis into clear, commercial recommendations.
• Available to start at short notice for a defined three-month term.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial modelling and valuation (DCF, NPV, IRR, WACC) for major capital investments and business cases.
• Evaluate investment opportunities and recommend prioritisation, timing and sequencing.
• Develop and maintain long-term strategic, financial and pricing models.
• Run scenario analysis, stress testing and Monte Carlo simulations to assess risk and value drivers.
• Develop an enterprise capital allocation model linked to EBITDA volatility, portfolio risk and strategic objectives.
• Maintain key financial assumptions and value drivers, including WACC and credit metrics.
• Prepare high-quality papers and analysis for the Executive, Investment Committee and Board.
• Track sector, market and regulatory developments relevant to investment decisions.

The Role

This three-month fixed-term role provides investment and capital allocation decision support to the Executive, Investment Committee and Board. Reporting into senior finance leadership, you will lead financial modelling, valuation and strategic analysis for major capital investments, in a hands‑on and highly accountable capacity.
