Auckland | OFC Professional League
Help shape the standards behind professional club football in Oceania.
This is an opportunity to play an important role in the continued development of professional club football across the Pacific.
As Club Licensing & Compliance Manager, you’ll work directly with clubs and Member Associations across Oceania, helping ensure the standards underpinning the OFC Professional League are understood, implemented and continually strengthened.
Oceania Football Confederation (OFC) is the umbrella organisation for national football associations across Oceania, actively engaged in promoting football as a tool for social development. Committed to leaving a positive impact in the communities we serve, OFC delivers award-winning Sport for Development programmes that use football to enhance lives across the Pacific region.
Reporting to the Head of OFC Professional League, you will be responsible for implementing, administering and developing the OFC Professional League Club Licensing System.
You’ll be a key point of contact for Club Licensing matters, working closely with OFC, Member Associations, participating clubs and external experts throughout the licensing process.
This is a full-time position based in Auckland, with a minimum of 40 guaranteed hours per week.
This is more than an administration role. You’ll work directly with clubs to help them understand licensing requirements, monitor their progress, navigate submissions and address areas where criteria have not yet been met.
You’ll also coordinate Club Licence assessments, deliver training and workshops, support clubs with the use of the OFC COMET system and contribute to the ongoing improvement of OFC’s Club Licensing processes and standards.
Your responsibilities will include:
You’ll be someone who can balance compliance, organisation and attention to detail with strong relationship management.
You’ll be working with clubs, Member Associations, external experts and internal stakeholders, so you’ll need to communicate requirements clearly, adapt your approach to different audiences and confidently work through issues when they arise.
You’ll be proactive, highly organised and comfortable managing competing deadlines. You’ll also be able to work autonomously while keeping key stakeholders informed and ensuring processes continue to move forward.
OFC operates across a diverse region, and this role will require flexibility.
There will be occasions where you need to work weekends or evenings, as well as travel and spend extended periods away from home depending on the requirements of the role.
Additional languages beyond English would be beneficial.
Applicants must be eligible to work in New Zealand and be able to satisfactorily complete OFC’s required Ministry of Justice criminal history and credit checks.
If you’re ready to play an important role in supporting the continued development of professional club football across Oceania, we’d love to hear from you.
