First Focus, recently expanding in New Zealand, is seeking a Systems Engineer to own and resolve escalations, design and deploy client infrastructure, and drive security improvements. You’ll work with a talented team, own environments, and contribute to strategic projects with customers across the Microsoft stack.

You’ll bring 3+ years in systems engineering, strong troubleshooting, and experience with Microsoft 365, Windows Server, AD, DNS/DHCP, and Exchange.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in systems engineering or similar IT role.
• Strong troubleshooting across servers, networks and security.
• Solid knowledge of Microsoft 365, AD, DNS/DHCP and Exchange.

Responsabilités

• Act as Level 3 escalation point for complex infrastructure, networking and security issues.
• Design, implement, and maintain client infrastructure solutions across Microsoft cloud and on-premise environments.
• Lead technical scoping, requirements gathering, and solution design.
• Provide pre-sales technical expertise and client consultations.
• Conduct infrastructure and security assessments and drive process improvements.
