First Focus, recently established in New Zealand, is seeking a Systems Engineer to resolve escalations and own client environments. You’ll act as the technical brain for customers, handling complex infrastructure, networking, and security challenges while collaborating with a team that values taking ownership.

You’ll design and maintain Microsoft cloud and on‑premise environments, lead scoping, and contribute to solution architecture. Hybrid work supports balance.

Formación

• 3+ years of experience as a Systems Engineer or similar infrastructure-focused IT role.
• Strong troubleshooting capabilities across servers, networks, and security.
• Solid knowledge of Microsoft technologies including M365, Windows Server, Exchange, AD, DNS, and Group Policy.

Responsabilidades

• Act as the Level 3 escalation point, providing advanced troubleshooting for complex infrastructure, networking, and security issues.
• Design, implement, and maintain client infrastructure solutions across Microsoft cloud, on‑premise, and network environments.
• Lead technical project scoping, including requirements gathering, solution design, effort estimation, and proposal documentation.
• Provide pre‑sales technical expertise by contributing to solution architecture, project planning, and client consultations.
• Conduct infrastructure and security assessments while driving continuous improvement of internal processes, standards, and best practices.
