Job summary

Avis Budget Group in Queenstown, New Zealand is seeking a dedicated Cleaner / Car Cleaner for a full-time fixed-term role (until end of March 2027). You will service our vehicle fleet, ensuring cars are clean and ready for customers, with full training provided.

The position requires a hands-on work approach, availability across 7 days, and a valid class 1 driver’s licence. Competitive hourly pay and benefits are offered.

• Refuelling tanks, checking fluid levels and tyre conditions along with pressure and tread depth

Calling all Working Holiday Visa holders for full-time, fixed-term (until end of March 2027) work over our busy season.

Keeping our fleet looking like new is essential to our operations at Apex Car Rentals in Queenstown . We now have an opportunity for someone who isn't afraid of hard work and has a keen eye to detail to come and be part of our fantastic team!

About the Role

As what we call a Vehicle Service Agent your will be a key component to our operations. You will be responsible for checking and preparing our vehicles to ensure they are in the best condition possible for our customers.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Preparing the interior and exterior of our vehicles by cleaning, washing, and vacuuming all returned vehicles

What we are looking for :

• Full , clean, valid class 1 driver’s licence is essential for this role


• Previous experience in a hands-on or physical labouring role


• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment in all weather conditions delivering a high standard of work


• Ability to follow procedures and adhere to company guidelines and standards

As we operate 7 days a week from 8 am to 6:30 pm you will be required to work anytime during our operating hours which may include early mornings, evenings, full weekends and public holidays as required.
