Job summary

Avis Budget Group in Greymouth, New Zealand, is seeking a Vehicle Service Agent for a part-time role (27.5 hours per week). You will help prepare and inspect vehicles for customers, with full training provided and a supportive team culture.

You must have a valid class 1 driver's licence and be comfortable working across all shifts, including at least one weekend day. Role involves cleaning, inspecting, refuelling and documenting vehicle conditions using hand-held devices, with the aim of

Responsibilities

• Preparing the interior and exterior of vehicles by cleaning, washing, and vacuuming returned vehicles.
• Assessing vehicle for any potential new damages and reporting per damage procedure.
• Reviewing returned vehicle gas levels and kilometres and inputting them into hand-held devices.
• Refuelling gas tanks, checking fluid levels and tyre conditions including pressure and tread depth.

Job description

Keeping our fleet looking like new is essential to our operations so we are looking for someone who isn't scared of hard work and has a keen eye to detail to come and be part of our fantastic team!

• Part-Time position available working 27.5 hours per week

We operate 7 days a week, Monday to Sunday from 0800 - 1900 each day for this position we are looking for someone who can work during our operational hours including at lease one day per weekend.

About the Role

As what we call a Vehicle Service Agent you will be a key component to our operations, you will be responsible for checking and preparing our vehicles to ensure they are in the best condition possible for our customers.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Preparing the interior and exterior of our vehicles by cleaning, washing, and vacuuming all returned vehicles
• Assessing vehicle for any potential new damages and report it as per our vehicle damage procedure
• Reviewing returned vehicle gas levels and car kilometres and accurately inputting them into our hand-held devices as required
• Refuelling gas tanks, checking fluid levels and tyre conditions along with pressure and tread depth

What we are looking for:
