Apex Car Rentals in Queenstown, Otago, is hiring a Vehicle Service Agent for full-time, fixed-term work during the busy season. Training will be provided and a 7-day operating schedule applies. Qualifications

• Full, clean, valid class 1 driver’s licence is essential.

Responsibilities

• Preparing the interior and exterior of vehicles by cleaning, washing, and vacuuming returned vehicles.
• Assessing vehicle for damages and reporting per vehicle damage procedure.
• Reviewing returned vehicle fuel levels and kilometres and inputting them into hand-held devices.
• Refuelling tanks, checking fluid levels and tyre conditions including pressure and tread depth.

Calling all Working Holiday Visa holders for full-time, fixed-term (3 months) work over our busy season.

Full-Time, Fixed Term work for 3-months Supportive, friendly and caring culture Entry level position with training provided Keeping our fleet looking like new is essential to our operations at Apex Car Rentals in Queenstown.

About the Role

As what we call a Vehicle Service Agent your will be a key component to our operations. You will be responsible for checking and preparing our vehicles to ensure they are in the best condition possible for our customers.

Key responsibilities

• Preparing the interior and exterior of our vehicles by cleaning, washing, and vacuuming all returned vehicles
• Assessing vehicle for any potential new damages and report it as per our vehicle damage procedure
• Reviewing returned vehicle gas levels and car kilometres and accurately inputting them into our hand-held devices as required
• Refuelling tanks, checking fluid levels and tyre conditions along with pressure and tread depth

What we are looking for

• Full, clean, valid class 1 driver’s licence is essential for this role
• Previous experience in a hands-on or physical labouring role
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment in all weather conditions delivering a high standard of work
• Ability to follow procedures and adhere to company guidelines and standards
• As we operate 7 days a week from 8 am to 6:30 pm you will be required to work anytime during our operating hours which may include early mornings, evenings, full weekends and public holidays as required
