Job summary

Bupa Redwood Care Home in Ōwhata, Rotorua, is seeking a Cleaner to join the Housekeeping team. You’ll help maintain a high standard of cleaning, manage supplies, and ensure residents’ rooms and public areas are in order.

You’ll work a casual roster, including weekends, with supporting benefits such as uniforms, footwear allowance, health insurance, flu vaccinations, skin checks, and access to Bupa Campus and wellbeing programs.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience in a care home or similar environment.
• Be a proactive team player who can work independently and pitch in where needed.
• Empathetic, enthusiastic, and passionate about making a positive difference for residents.
• Available to work rotating rostered shifts, including weekends.
• Reliable transport and travel arrangements.
• Applicants must have the legal right to work in New Zealand.

Hours & Roster Details:

• Employment Type: Casual
• Hours: As per the requirement at the care home
• Shift Time: 8:00am to 2pm/ 10am to 4pm

The purpose of this job

Located in Ōwhata, Rotorua, Bupa Redwood Care Home is surrounded by beautifully established gardens and peaceful outdoor spaces. The home offers rest home, hospital, dementia, and specialist dementia (psychogeriatric) care.

As a Cleaner you will be part of the Housekeeping team to:
