Job summary

Bupa Redwood Care Home in Ōwhata, Rotorua, is hiring a Casual Cleaner to join our Housekeeping team. You’ll maintain high cleaning standards, manage supplies and keep residents’ areas tidy according to the schedule. Shifts run 8:00am–2:00pm or 10:00am–4:00pm.

Previous cleaning experience is preferred. Be a proactive team player, empathetic and reliable with the legal right to work in New Zealand. We offer uniforms, benefits, and a supportive environment that respects residents with dignity.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience in a similar environment is preferable.
• Be a proactive team player who can work independently and pitch in where needed.
• Empathetic, enthusiastic, and passionate about making a positive difference for residents.
• Reliable transport and travel arrangements.
• Applicants must have the legal right to work in New Zealand.

• Managing cleaning supplies.
• Meet daily schedule; ensure residents' rooms and public areas are in perfect order; report faults to the Household supervisor.
• Adhere to Health & Safety policies, procedures, and safe chemical use and storage.
• Treat residents with respect and dignity.

Located in Ōwhata, Rotorua, Bupa Redwood Care Home is surrounded by beautifully established gardens and peaceful outdoor spaces. The home offers rest home, hospital, dementia, and specialist dementia (psychogeriatric) care.

As a Cleaneryou will be part of the Housekeeping team to:
