Job summary

Bupa Accadia Manor Care Home in South Tauranga is seeking a casual Cleaner to join the Housekeeping team. You will maintain a high standard of cleaning, manage supplies and ensure resident areas stay neat and orderly, reporting issues as needed.

The purpose of this job

Located in South Tauranga, Bupa Accadia Manor Care Home is a boutique care home. Care options include a Rest Home.

As a Cleaner you will be part of the Housekeeping team to:

• Maintain a high standard of cleaning as set out on the cleaning schedule.
• Managing cleaning supplies.
• Meeting of daily schedule to ensure that residents’ rooms and public areas are in perfect order, reporting any faults or issues to the Household supervisor.
• Adhere to Health & Safety policies, procedures, and safe chemical use and storage.
• Treat residents with respect and dignity.

What you'll need to make it possible

• Previous cleaning experience in a similar environment is preferable.
• Be a proactive team player who can work independently and pitch in where needed
• Empathetic, enthusiastic, and passionate about making a positive difference for residents
• Available to work rotating rostered shifts, including weekends
• Reliable transport and travel arrangements
