Job summary

Team Global Express NZ is seeking a Class 5 Driver at our Whangarei branch to assist with collections and deliveries for a key customer. The role runs Monday–Friday, 7.00am–3.30pm, minimum 40 hours per week, with a mix of regional work and tail lift deliveries.

Applicants must hold a clean NZ Class 5 Licence; Dangerous Goods endorsement and forklift OSH cert are desirable. You will be part of a multinational business with strong safety culture and opportunities to grow within the team.

Qualifications

• Clean Full NZ Class 5 License - must have.
• Dangerous Good Endorsement - ideal.
• Forklift License with OSH cert - ideal.
• Customer-focused attitude.

• Experience driving on New Zealand roads.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight safely by hand.
• Ensure freight is handled without damage.
• Scan all freight. If you touch it, scan it.
• Deliver and pickup on time and in full.
• Actively participate in all safety processes and procedures.
• Always operate your vehicle in a Safe and legal manner.
• Take pride in your vehicle by keeping it clean and tidy - inside and out.

We're on the hunt for a Class 5 Driver to join our Whangarei branch to assist with collections and deliveries with one of our key customers. Shift: Monday – Friday, 7.00am – 3.30pm, minimum 40 hours per week

About the role - M'o te tūranga

This role will be responsible to assist with the timely safe handling of freight for the company to achieve their target delivery goals. The run is a mix of regional work with bulk and tail lift deliveries.

What you'll do

• Load and unload freight safely by hand.
• Ensure freight is handled without damage.
• Scan all freight. If you touch it, scan it.
• Deliver and pickup on time and in full.
• Actively participate in all safety processes and procedures.
