Job summary

Team Global Express NZ is seeking a Class 5 Driver for our Palmerston North branch to assist with collections and deliveries for a key customer. Shift: Mon–Fri, roughly 6:30am start, minimum 45 hours weekly. Role focuses on safe handling and timely delivery of freight.

The role requires a full NZ Class 5 license with DG endorsement (ideal) and a strong customer-focused, team-oriented mindset. Training and safety are emphasised in our operations.

Qualifications

• Clean Full NZ Class 5 License with Dangerous Goods Endorsement (ideal).
• Experience driving on New Zealand roads.
• Customer-focused attitude and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight safely by hand.
• Scan all freight; ensure accuracy and traceability.
• Deliver and pickup on time and in full.
• Maintain safety practices and comply with procedures.
• Keep vehicle clean and presentable, inside and out.
• Communicate effectively with customers and team.

We're on the hunt for a Class 5 Driver to join our Palmerston North branch to assist with collections and deliveries with one of our key customers.

Shift: Monday – Friday, approx. 6.30am start, minimum 45 hours per week

About the role - Mō te tūranga

This role will be responsible to assist with the timely safe handling of freight for the company to achieve their target delivery goals.

What you'll do:

• Load and unload freight safely by hand.


• Ensure freight is handled without damage.


• Scan all freight. If you touch it, scan it.


• Deliver and pickup on time and in full.


• Actively participate in all safety processes and procedures


• Always operate your vehicle in a safe and legal manner.


• Take pride in your vehicle by always keeping it clean and tidy - inside and out.
