Job summary

Team Global Express is seeking a Class 5 Driver for our Dunedin branch to assist with collections and deliveries. You will hold a Clean NZ Class 5 license with DG endorsement and may also have a forklift license.

This full-time role involves safety-focused, on-time freight handling and active participation in safety processes. Applicants should have experience driving on New Zealand roads, strong customer service skills, and be prepared for pre-employment checks.

Responsibilities

Connecting people and communities| Driving eCommerce | Moving New Zealand Team Global Express NZ delivers freight forwarding, end-to-end transport services, and comprehensive logistics solutions to customers operating in New Zealand from Kaitaia to Invercargill. We're on the hunt for a Class 5 Driver to join our Dunedin branch to assist with collections and deliveries with one of our key customers.

Shift: Monday – Friday, 6am start, approx. 40-50 hours per week

About the role - Mō te tūranga

This role will be responsible to assist with the timely safe handling of freight for the company to achieve their target delivery goals. Holding your Class 5 license with F and D&G is crucial to being able to fulfil this role successfully.

What you'll do:

• Load and unload freight safely by hand.
• Ensure freight is handled without damage.
• Scan all freight. If you touch it, scan it.
• Deliver and pickup on time and in full.
• Actively participate in all safety processes and procedures.
• Always operate your vehicle in a safe and legal manner.
• Take pride in your vehicle by always keeping it clean and tidy - inside and out.
