Job summary

Team Global Express in Wellington is seeking a Class 5 Driver to support collections and deliveries for a key customer. Shift: Monday–Friday, 7pm start, 10+ hours daily, with flexibility for public holidays or weekends.

You must hold a NZ Class 5 license with DG endorsement and ideally a forklift OSH cert. Responsibilities include safe manual loading/unloading, accurate scanning, on-time delivery/pickups, and strict adherence to safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Clean Full NZ Class 5 License; Dangerous Goods Endorsement required; Forklift License with OSH cert is ideal.
• Customer-focused attitude.
• Communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience driving on New Zealand roads.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight safely by hand.
• Ensure freight is handled without damage.
• Scan all freight. If you touch it, scan it.
• Deliver and pickup on time and in full.
• Actively participate in all safety processes and procedures.
• Always operate your vehicle in a safe and legal manner.
• Take pride in your vehicle by keeping it clean and tidy—inside and out.

Connecting people and communities| Driving eCommerce | Moving New Zealand Team Global Express NZ delivers freight forwarding, end-to-end transport services, and comprehensive logistics solutions to customers operating in New Zealand from Kaitaia to Invercargill. We're on the hunt for a Class 5 Driver to join our Wellington branch to assist with collections and deliveries with one of our key customers. Shift: Monday - Friday, 7pm start, minimum 10 hours per day Note: Flexibility required to work public holidays or weekend days if there's a need.

About the role - Mō te tūranga

This role will be responsible to assist with the timely safe handling of freight for the company to achieve their target delivery goals. Holding your Class 5 license with D&G is crucial to being able to fulfil this role successfully.

What you'll do:

• Load and unload freight safely by hand.
