Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• 3-5 years of experience in civil design engineering.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and other relevant design software.
• Solid understanding of civil engineering principles and SA construction practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills for effective team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed designs for civil engineering projects, including roadworks, earthworks, and stormwater management systems.
• Prepare comprehensive technical drawings, specifications, and contract documentation using industry-standard software.
• Conduct site analysis, surveys, and feasibility studies to support design development.
• Ensure designs comply with relevant national and local regulations, standards, and environmental requirements.
• Collaborate with project managers to track design progress, manage scope, and identify potential risks.
• Coordinate with other disciplines, such as structural and geotechnical engineers, to ensure integrated project solutions.
