Placements24 is seeking a highly competent Structural Civil Engineer to join a renowned firm in Welkom. You will lead structural analysis, design and oversight for diverse projects, ensuring compliance with SANS and standards.

The role requires a bachelor’s or master’s in Civil Engineering (Structural) with Pr.Eng. registration and at least 7 years of hands-on experience. Opportunity to influence major projects within the Free State province.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design for various types of structures, including concrete, steel, and masonry.

• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to achieve project goals and resolve design challenges.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Structural Engineering.
• Professional registration with ECSA as a Pr.Eng. is required.

• Expertise in finite element analysis (FEA) software and structural design codes (e.g., SANS).
• Proficiency in relevant structural design software such as Prokon, SAP2000, or similar.
