Job summary

The New Zealand Venue Co. in Auckland is seeking multiple Chef de Partie to join our team. This is a permanent, full-time role across our busy venues.

We value passion, creativity and superb presentation, with a minimum of 2 years’ experience, strong food safety, customer service and community engagement. Remuneration is between $25 and $35 per hour, with a minimum 30 hours per week and shifts seven days a week.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years relevant kitchen experience.
• Ability to prepare high quality meals in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong focus on food safety and hygiene.
• Excellent customer service and community engagement.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning menus and estimating food and labour costs, and ordering food supplies.
• Deliver high quality dishes that are in line with the business’ standards.
• Discuss food preparation issues with kitchen and waiting staff.
• Train new staff and supervise them during service.
• Maintain hygiene regulations and safety standards.
