About the Role

We're on the lookout for a passionate and skilled Chef de Partie to join the culinary team at Bloody Mary's, the signature restaurant at Rydges Latimer Christchurch. This is a full-time position working closely with the Executive Chef and Sous Chef to deliver exceptional dining experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• · Produce high-quality food across all services in line with established recipes and presentation standards.
• · Prepare sauces, soups, hot dishes, pantry items, and specialty menu offerings with consistency and attention to detail.
• · Monitor portion control, food quality, and storage practices to minimise waste and maintain standards.
• · Maintain a clean, safe, and organised kitchen environment in line with WH&S and food safety requirements.
• · Protect and maintain kitchen equipment and ensure correct handling of all stock and supplies.
• · Work collaboratively with the wider kitchen and service team to ensure seamless service delivery.

What You'll Bring

• · Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or strong Commis ready to step up in a high-quality kitchen environment.
• · Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, food preparation, and recipe execution.
• · Solid understanding of portion control, waste management, and stock rotation.
