Job summary

EVT Group’s Rydges Wellington hotel is seeking a friendly Guest Service Agent (Part-Time) to deliver outstanding front desk service from arrival to departure. You’ll connect with guests, process reservations, and uphold the hotel’s high standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service or hotel front office experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and public holidays.
• Ability to remain calm, organised and professional under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with a warm and professional approach at check-in and check-out
• Process guest accounts, reservations, and daily transactions accurately
• Respond promptly to guest requests, enquiries, and feedback
• Coordinate with Housekeeping, Maintenance, and Reservations to ensure rooms are guest ready
• Maintain knowledge of hotel facilities, local attractions, and current promotions
• Ensure all operational procedures, cashiering, and WH&S standards are followed
• Complete opening and closing duties and support wider front office operations as required
• Assist in creating a positive and seamless guest experience at every interaction

Guest Service Agent (Part-Time)

Join the front office team at Rydges Wellington and help create memorable guest experiences from arrival to departure. We’re looking for a passionate and service-focused Guest Service Agent who thrives in a fast-paced hotel environment and enjoys connecting with people from all walks of life.

As the face of the hotel, you’ll play an important role in ensuring guests feel welcomed, supported, and valued throughout their stay while maintaining the high standards of service Rydges is known for.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with a warm and professional approach at check-in and check-out
• Process guest accounts, reservations, and daily transactions accurately
