Job summary

EVT Limited is seeking a Guest Service Agent (Part-Time) for Rydges Wellington to deliver memorable guest experiences from arrival to departure. You will be the friendly face of the hotel, handling check-ins/outs, reservations, and guest accounts while upholding the high standards Rydges is known for.

Join a fast-paced hotel environment, connect with diverse guests, and partner with Housekeeping, Maintenance and Reservations to ensure rooms are guest ready.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service or front desk experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm, organised and professional under pressure.
• Excellent attention to detail and administrative accuracy.
• Confidence using hotel systems and technology.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with a warm and professional approach at check-in and check-out.
• Process guest accounts, reservations, and daily transactions accurately.
• Respond promptly to guest requests, enquiries and feedback.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping, Maintenance and Reservations to ensure rooms are guest ready.
• Maintain knowledge of hotel facilities, local attractions and current promotions.
• Ensure all operational procedures, cashiering and WHS standards are followed.
• Complete opening and closing duties and support wider front office operations as required.
• Assist in creating a positive and seamless guest experience at every interaction.

Join the front office team at Rydges Wellington and help create memorable guest experiences from arrival to departure. We're looking for a passionate and service-focused Guest Service Agent who thrives in a fast-paced hotel environment and enjoys connecting with people from all walks of life.

As the face of the hotel, you'll play an important role in ensuring guests feel welcomed, supported, and valued throughout their stay while maintaining the high standards of service Rydges is known for.
