Job summary

New World Howick in Auckland is seeking a Checkout Supervisor to lead the checkout team and cover the Checkout Manager in their absence.

You will support scanning, packing, and accurate charging of customers while maintaining the highest standards of service in a fast-paced environment. Applicants must be eligible to work in New Zealand.

You will be assisting in the scanning, packing and accurately charging customers for products whilst providing the highest standards of excellent customer service. You will also need to be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Supermarket or Retail experience
• Checkout or Customer Service experience is preferable.
• Customer and results focused.
• Strong relationship builder, team player and problem solver.
• Strong communication (verbal and written)
• Maintaining standards and eye for detail
• Physically fit and healthy
• LCQ Certificate would be advantageous

Working hours:

Monday: 4pm to 9pm

Thursday: 10:30am to 6:30pm

Friday: 1pm to 9pm

Saturday: 3pm to 9pm

Sunday: 2pm to 9pm
