Job summary

Jora New Zealand is seeking an experienced Customer Service Supervisor to help lead the day-to-day operation of our Checkout, Lotto and Café areas in Wanaka. If you enjoy delivering great customer service and supporting a busy team, we’d love to hear from you.

You will oversee the day-to-day customer service, train and develop staff, maintain health and safety standards, and ensure procedures are followed. Shifts are generally 1pm–10pm, including weekends.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in a customer-focused role.
• Manager’s Certificate required.
• Proactive, positive attitude.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Able to work under pressure, reliable and detail-oriented.
• Availability for weekends and rostered afternoon/evening shifts 1pm–10pm.

• Make sure our customers receive friendly, fast and efficient service
• Support, train and develop team members
• Maintain high standards of health, safety and food safety
• Ensure store procedures and legal requirements are followed
• Help keep our Checkout, Lotto and Café areas running smoothly

About you

• At least 2 years’ experience in a customer-focused environment
• Manager’s Certificate
• Strong initiative and a positive, can-do attitude
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Able to work well under pressure and as part of a team
• Reliable, organised and detail-oriented
• $28–$30 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications
• Rostered hours, with a preference for afternoon/evening availability, generally between 1pm and 10pm
• Availability to work on weekends
