Job summary

Summerset Kenepuru village is seeking a caring, empathetic Caregiver to support residents with daily living tasks, meals, hygiene and social activities. You will join a supportive team delivering personal care in a safety-focused environment.

This 12-month fixed-term role covers maternity leave, with a full-time 4-on/2-off roster across morning, afternoon and night shifts. Experience in aged care and strong communication are preferred; a flexible roster is required.

Job Description

As a Caregiver at our Kenepuru villageyou will work as part of a team that creates the safest, healthiest and most enjoyable lifestyle for our residents. This role is varied and centres around providing personal care and assistance to our resident’s daily lives.

Typical duties include:

• Delivering meals and helping with mealtimes
• Aiding with hygiene, such as showering
• Assisting with Individual care plan requirements, such as walks and exercises
• Helping with activities, such as puzzles, table tennis etc

This is a 12-month fixed-term Caregiver role covering maternity leave. Full-time, 4 on 2 off roster, mixed AM/PM shifts.

Qualifications

You will naturally be empathetic, kind and patient, and thrive in a role where your compassion and care make a difference to people’s lives.

You’ll bring with you:

• Experience in aged care or a similar role
• Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to build lasting relationships
• Commitmentto a rotational roster across morning, afternoon and night shifts
• Ability to work a roster pattern of 4 days on and 2 days off (immediate start)
