Job summary

Summerset Mountain View Village is seeking a compassionate Caregiver to join a team dedicated to delivering safe, healthy and enjoyable living for residents. You will provide personal care and support daily activities, including meals, hygiene and mobility, while engaging residents in meaningful activities.

The role operates on a 60–80 hour fortnight schedule with Friday to Monday night shifts, offering opportunities for career progression and skill development within a values-led organisation.

Qualifications

• 2+ years caregiving experience in an aged care environment.
• Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to build lasting relationships.
• Commitmentto a rotational roster across morning, afternoon and night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Delivering meals and helping with mealtimes.
• Aiding with hygiene, such as showering.
• Assisting with Individual care plan requirements, such as walks and exercises.
• Helping with activities, such as puzzles, table tennis etc.

Job Description

As a Caregiver at our Summerset Mountain View Villageyou will work as part of a team that creates the safest, healthiest and most enjoyable lifestyle for our residents. This role is varied and centres around providing personal care and assistance to our resident's daily lives.

Typical duties include:

• Delivering meals and helping with mealtimes
• Aiding with hygiene, such as showering
• Assisting with Individual care plan requirements, such as walks and exercises
• Helping with activities, such as puzzles, table tennis etc

This position works between 60 - 80 hours per fortnight, Friday - Monday night shifts.

You will naturally be empathetic, kind and patient, and thrive in a role where your compassion and care make a difference to people's lives.
