Job summary

Summerset Holdings is seeking a dedicated Caregiver for Boulcott Village in Wellington. You will join a team delivering compassionate personal care to residents, including meals, hygiene, and activity support. The role is fixed-term from 23 November 2026 to 15 June 2027, with a 4 days on, 2 days off shift pattern (AM/PM).

Applicants should have aged care experience, strong communication, and a compassionate approach. Rotational roster across mornings, afternoons and nights is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in aged care or similar role.
• Ability to build lasting relationships with residents.
• Willingness to work a rotational roster including mornings, afternoons and nights.

Responsibilities

• Deliver meals and assist with mealtimes.
• Assist with hygiene and daily personal care.

Job Description:

As a Caregiver at our Boulcott Villageyou will work as part of a team that creates the safest, healthiest and most enjoyable lifestyle for our residents. This role is varied and centres around providing personal care and assistance to our resident’s daily lives.

This is a fixed term role from 23 November 2026 until 15 June 2027, working 4 on 2 off AM/PM shifts.

Typical duties include:

• Delivering meals and helping with mealtimes
• Aiding with hygiene, such as showering
• Assisting with Individual care plan requirements, such as walks and exercises
• Helping with activities, such as puzzles, table tennis etc

Qualifications:

You will naturally be empathetic, kind and patient, and thrive in a role where your compassion and care make a difference to people’s lives.

You’ll bring with you:

• Experience in aged care or a similar role
• Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to build lasting relationships
• Commitmentto a rotational roster across morning, afternoon and night shifts
• Ability to work a roster pattern of 4 days on and 2 days off
