Job summary

Heritage Lifecare is seeking a compassionate Caregiver for Redroofs Lifecare in Dunedin. This casual role covers AM, PM, night and weekend shifts, delivering high-quality care in a warm, welcoming home.

You will work with residents to ensure their comfort and safety, requiring exceptional communication and a friendly, positive attitude. NZQA Health & Wellbeing certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Proven experience caring for others, ideally within an aged care environment.
• Minimum NZQA Certificate in Health and Wellbeing, or an equivalent New Zealand or overseas qualification (e.g. Bachelor of Nursing, Diploma in Nursing).
• Good communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• A genuine love for helping people, excellent customer service skills, with a friendly and positive attitude.
• A passion for continuous improvement, with a sound understanding of the importance of health and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care to residents in a warm, caring environment.
