Job summary

Nelson Marlborough Institute of Technology (NMIT) is hiring a part-time Café Assistant for the Nelson and Richmond Campus Cafés. The role requires 20–30 hours per week with flexible rosters and Monday–Friday 7am–4pm availability. Living wage: 29.90 NZD per hour.

Applicants must have cafe experience and be able to work across two campuses. Roster discussions occur two weeks in advance; extra hours may be available to cover events or leave. Must have legal rights to work in New Zealand.

Job description

We are currently looking for a part time CaféAssistant to join our Nelson and Richmond Campus Café's. We are looking for an experienced café allrounder with outstanding customer service. We welcome applications from those wanting between 20 and 30 hours per week. You will need to be able to work flexibly on a roster basis, be available Monday - Friday between 7-4pm. Rosters are discussed and agreed two weeks in advance. Extra hours may also be available week to week to cover events, sick days and annual leave.
