Nelson Marlborough Institute of Technology (NMIT) in Blenheim is seeking relief tutors for the Foundation Studies Programme to support learners aged 16–24 in a face-to-face setting. The role focuses on building confidence, skills, and success in studies.
Hours are typically Monday to Thursday, 9:00am–3:00pm, with relief work offered as needed to cover staff absences and programme requirements. Applicants should be passionate about learner support and working with young people.
We are seeking relief tutors to support our Foundation Studies Programme on the Blenheim Campus.
This role involves working with Foundation learners aged 16-24 years in a supportive, face-to-face learning environment, helping students build confidence, develop skills, and achieve success in their studies.
Classroom hours are typically Monday to Thursday, 9:00am to 3:00pm, with opportunities for relief work offered as required to cover staff absences and programme needs.
We are looking for individuals who are passionate about supporting learners, enjoy working with young people, and can contribute positively to a collaborative teaching environment. Experience in education, youth development, or learner support would be advantageous.
