Job summary

Central Heating New Zealand, a subsidiary of Rinnai New Zealand, seeks a dynamic sales and business development professional to drive growth in the Southern Lakes region. You will engage with plumbers, merchants, builders, and heating engineers, identifying new opportunities while nurturing existing relationships.

In this autonomous role, you will manage incoming leads, develop proposals, and represent the brand at trade events, supported by comprehensive product training and a clear career

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in business development, territory sales, or account management.
  • Knowledge of HVAC or plumbing sector would be advantageous.
  • Experience working with trade customers and merchant channels.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities.
  • Confidence using CRM and business systems.
  • An existing network within the Southern Lakes trade sector would be a strong advantage.

In this key sales and business development role, you will drive growth across the trade and merchant sectors — connecting with plumbers, merchants, builders, heating engineers, architects, and other industry influencers. Working autonomously within your territory, you will identify new opportunities, nurture existing relationships, and champion industry-leading products and solutions.
