Job summary

Programmed Maintenance Services in Christchurch, South Island, is seeking an experienced HVAC Installer or Service Technician who thrives on variety and delivering quality workmanship. You will join a supportive team while also taking autonomy to manage your own workload and provide exceptional service to customers.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years NZ experience installing or fault-finding air conditioning, heat pumps, or HVAC systems, a current NZ driver's licence, and residency.

What We're Looking For

To be successful in this role, you'll ideally have:

• Proven experience installing and/or fault-finding air conditioning, heat pump, or HVAC systems (2+ years of NZ experience preferred)
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, solutions-focused attitude
• A commitment to delivering consistently high-quality workmanship
• Electrical trade registration or relevant electrical experience (advantageous but not essential)
• A current, clean New Zealand driver's licence
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• The ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues
• A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and pride in your work
• Physical fitness and the ability to work in a hands-on environment
