Job summary

J. A. Russell Ltd in Papakura is seeking an energetic Branch Admin/Customer Service person to join our friendly team. You will handle phone and email queries, manage stock, process returns, and support sales reps with quotes and orders.

Hours are Monday to Friday 45 hours per week with rostered Saturdays 8.00am-12.00pm. We offer a birthday day off after one year, subsidised health insurance, EAP for you and family, and a commitment to coaching and internal promotions.

Qualifications

• Clear and effective communication skills (both written and verbal) with the ability to interact across all organisational levels.
• Good attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
• A can-do, positive attitude and a smart approach to problem-solving.
• Computer literacy and the ability to learn and use computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Answering phone and email queries from customers.
• Maintain optimal stock levels and stock turns for the Branch: purchasing stock when required, dead and slow-moving stock control.
• Investigate and resolve stock count discrepancies.
• Processing returns and following up credits with suppliers.
• Exceptional customer service at our trade counter, assisting customer with sales orders and returns.
• Supporting Sales Representatives with quote preparation, customer follow-ups, and general sales administration.
